The 2.7 MW solar power installation at the distribution center in Pijnacker in 2017 was the start of broader implementation. The DC in Zaandam followed shortly after, as did the solar power projects at the stores among other things in Maastricht, Leeuwarden, Den Helder, Alkmaar. Thanks to our many years of experience, we understand the primary processes of the food retailer at both DC and store level. All our work processes and systems are designed for this and are continuously improved. As a result, virtually no disruptions are noticeable during the installation process. And should one nevertheless occur, we will solve it quickly and professionally. After all, even during the renovation 'we pay attention to the little things' and sales must continue smoothly.

A few examples. During the installation process, we inform the neighborhood and local residents about possible nuisance in consultation with the branch manager. This is of course all done in a customer-friendly and hospitable manner. The power up of a store's PV installation always takes place at night. So that when opening the next day, the doors of the branch open silently on solar energy. No customer is bothered by it.
