On his last working day, the day of the European elections, politician Diederik Samsom opened solar farm #Fledderbosch in Garmerwolde. Three keys were used to symbolicly open the door to the local energy transition.
Samson: “#Climate and energy has such a strong business case, that won’t go away. Not even in politics. It is crucial that we all shape the energy transition together as an energy community, new technologies must be developed together.”
Besides the official opening of the park, a symposium took place on the theme ‘The keys to local energy transition’. Over 200 guests attended the interesting presentations during the day. BNR Nieuwsradio broadcast live from the solar park throughout the day and recorded the programmes BNN Duurzaam and BNR Zakendoenoen.
